Usage notes

This form is found in older texts after certain vowel-final prepositions, e.g. faoi n-ar (“under/about which”), i n-ar (“in which”), le n-ar (“with which”), ó n-ar (“from which”). In modern texts these forms are written as single words: faoinar, inar, lenar, ónar.
