- The past participle form is very rare.
- The difference to the word besvara lies in that svara concerns answers or responses to people, while besvara (or in some cases svara + certain particles) concerns answers or responses to questions, telephone calls and so on:
- Att besvara en fråga. (= Att svara på en fråga.)
- To answer a question.
- Svara inte i telefonen när det åskar!
- Don't answer the phone during a thunderstorm!
- Svara honom inte!
- Don't answer him!
- Att besvara en fråga. (= Att svara på en fråga.)
