  1. Used to form interrogatives.
    Arabanı sattın mı?
    Did you sell your car?
    Aptal mısın?
    Are you an idiot?
    Dondurma alacak mıyız?
    Are we going to buy an ice cream?

Usage notes

  • Personal suffixes are added to the interrogative particles, as well as the past tense suffixes.
  • This form is used when the last vowel of the previous word is "a" or "ı". Other forms used with different vowels are: mu?, mi? and mü?
