  • Attaches to a nominal or the 連体形 (rentaikei, attributive form) of declinables.
  • The 連用形 (ren'yōkei, continuative form), (ni), is usually used in the construction + あり (侍り候ふ). Like (de) + ある (aru), binding particles may be inserted.
