Synonyms

Comment

The description by André & Naudo is a bit confusing. Indeed, the description of the new species and the type species of Pertydeus designate Pertydeus schusteri (and NOT Tydeus (Pertydeus) schusteri). But two lines before and in the title, it is stated that Pertydeus is a subgenus of Tydeus. This classification is followed by Baker (1970: 165).
