Notes

The family Tydeidae defined by André (1979) also included the Pronematinae and Tydaeolinae [both subfamilies were transferred to Iolinidae by André & Fain (2000)] and the Triophtydeinae [transferred to Triophtydeidae by André & Fain (2000)]. The three remaining subfamilies (Australotydaeinae, Tydeinae, Pretydeinae) are treated in the catalog published by Silva et al. (2016) which includes 328 species and 30 genera. Up to 445 species are listed on the net.
