Type locality: "Bosque Protector Cashca Totoras, 10 km southeast Santiago on road to Santa Rosa de Totoras, (78°53´W, 1°42´S, elevation 3200 m), Provincia Bolívar, Ecuador".
Holotype: QCAZ 1459.
