Type locality: "Finca El Palmar, 16 km SW Nutibara on the road to La Blanquita (Murri), región de Murri---Alto de Cuevas, corregimiento de Nutibara, Municipio de Frontino, Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia, 1960 m".
