Note: Although Lewis attributes basionym authority to Wallich (Cat. no. 1294, 1829, nom. nud.), the true specimen owner is Wight (note that the correct Wallich's no. 1294 specimen is Campanula dehiscens). Hedyotis latifolia Dalzell, which Hooker and Lewis include is now considered synonymous with Neanotis latifolia.
