Note: There is not full agreement for the generic circumscription of this tribe and this is most apparent when comparing Dregea and Marsdenia across primary and secondary sources. Livschultz et al. (2013) postulated that one way to render Marsdenia monophyletic is for it to subsume all species of Marsdenieae. This circumscription follows the more conservative Endress et al. (2014) at generic level.
