From Proto-Albanian *raṷīnja, *raudinja. Compare Sanskrit रोदिति (róditi, “to weep”), Latin rūdō (“I shout, cry”), Lithuanian raudà (“weeping”), Proto-Slavic *rydati (“to weep”)[1].
