endem
Albanian
Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *ende-, from Proto-Indo-European *h1(e)ndh- 'way, to go'. Cognate to Ancient Greek (aor.) ἐνθει̃ν (entheĩn, “to come”) and Sanskrit अध्वन् (ádhvan-, “way”)[1]. Possibly related to ἄνδινος περίπατος, a phrase attested in Greek, possibly of Illyrian origin.[2] One might also consider a metaphorical derivation of end 'to weave'.
Verb
endem (first-person singular past tense (u) enda, participle endur)
