From the nickname of Harold “Bluetooth” Gormsson, a king of Denmark and Norway, which in English is a calque of Old Norse blátǫnn (modern Danish Blåtand); so called because the technology unites computers and mobile devices similar to the way Bluetooth united Danish tribes.
