1. Used to create nouns from nouns.
   1. Resulting term often has the meaning of a building intended to shelter animals or people denoted in the base word.

      pes (dog) +‎ -inec = psinec (“kennel”)

   2. Resulting term often has the meaning of an excrement produced by the animal denoted in the base word.

      kobyla (mare) +‎ -inec = kobylinec (“mare's excrement”)

2. May create a noun from a pronoun or adjective.

   náš (our) +‎ -inec = našinec (“one of us, homeboy”)

   cizí (strange, foreign) +‎ -inec = cizinec (“stranger, foreigner”)

Usage notes

The word našinec is probably the only case of this suffix added to a pronoun.
