Etymology
From Arabic رِزْق (rizq), from Middle Persian 𐭫𐭥𐭰𐭩𐭪 (rōzīg, “sustenance, daily bread”), from which ܪܘܙܝܩܐ (rōzīqā) also derives. Compare Persian روزی (rōzī).
