Apparently from the derived from the active participle of نَعَمَ (naʿama, “to live in comfort, to be pleased, to enjoy”) and نَعِمَ (naʿima, “to live in comfort, to be pleased, to enjoy”), from the root ن ع م (n-ʿ-m).
