מַטָּרָה • (matará) f (plural indefinite מַטָּרוֹת‎, singular construct מַטְּרַת־‎, plural construct מַטְּרוֹת־‎)

  1. a target, aim.

  2. a cause, a goal, aim (result one is attempting to achieve)
