1. (dated) to fornicate, commit adultery
   • Numbers 25:1

     ‏וַיֵּשֶׁב יִשְׂרָאֵל בַּשִּׁטִּים וַיָּחֶל הָעָם לִזְנוֹת אֶל־בְּנוֹת מוֹאָב׃‎‎

     And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit harlotry with the daughters of Moab.
