Etymology
The origin is unknown.[1] Has an appearance of a Greek word, but no similar Ancient Greek word is known.[2] Related to Cappadocian Greek καλακόνι (kalakóni, “borer”)[3], which Ačaṙean treats as an Armenian borrowing[1].
