Etymology
Either from Proto-Indo-European *pr̥tʰ-, whence հարթնում (hartʿnum), or from Proto-Indo-European *ar-tʰ-, from *h₃er- (“to move, to stir; to rise, to spring”), whence Ancient Greek ἐρέθω (eréthō) with a similar extension.[1][2]
