Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (ertä, early; in the morning); Kazakh ерте (erte, early), Kyrgyz эрте (erte, early), Uzbek erta (early), Uyghur ئەرتە (erte, early; morning), Tuvan эрте (ärtä, early), Yakut эрдэ (erde, early).
