Holotype: Larva, Kenya, Turasha R, 9100 ft, 0°40'S/ 36°40'E, 9-1-1997, R. W. Grffiths and S. Cooper. Paratype: Larva, same data [mouthparts, forelegs, tergum 4, gill 4, and paraproct on slide (medium: Euparal)]. Other material: larva, same data.
