Xylophis stenorhynchus (Günther, 1875)

Syntypes (3): BMNH 1946.1.14.13, ♂, BMNH 1946.1.14.14, ♂, and BMNH 1946.1.14.15, ♀, collected by R.H. Beddome between 1857–1875.
Type locality: “Travancore”, southern India.

Xylophis indicus Beddome, 1878: 576 [synonymised by Boulenger (1890: 284)]
- Holotype: BMNH 1878.8.2.1, ♂, collected by R.H. Beddome.
- Type locality: “dense heavy evergreen forests on the mountains at the south of Cumbum Valley, Madura district; elevation 5000 feet”.
