Type locality: "southern slopes of Mt. Menawa, 8.5 km N, 14 km E of Utai Aerodeome, vicinity of Agpo Creek, 1200 m elevation, 3.309° S, 141.709° E, Bewani Mts., West Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea".
Holotype: BPBM 13746.
