Hybrid Formula

Clinopodium nepeta (L.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen. Pl. 2: 515 (1891) × Clinopodium rupestre (Wulfen) ined.. described originally as synonym Micromeria thymifolia (Scop.) Fritsch in A.J.R.Kerner, Sched. Fl. Exs. Austro-Hung. 8: 119 (1899). Therefore this is technically not a nothogenus, and needs re-circumscription and a new name.
