Name

Unplaced Senecioneae partially sensu Pelser et al. (2007)

This is a group of Senecioneae genera from a small number of lineages. The major group are genera placed into subtribe Brachyglottidinae, which has not been formally published in large part because authors await a taxonomic resolution of heavy paraphyly between Brachyglottis and all other genera discussed by Garnock-Jones, except Dolichoglottis and Caputia (Garnock-Jones, 2014). Other genera in this list have uncertain subtribal affiliation and/or have had no formal taxonomic transfer. This group is not a taxonomic rank, but a convenient source for botanists. See discussion page for more detail regarding Brachyglottidinae.
