Type locality: "Puquios, 21° 00´ 42 S---68° 23´ 256 W, 15 km NW of Ollague (on the Bolivian border), Provincia El Loa, II Region de Antofagasta, Chile; approximately 4150 m elevation".
Holotype: MZUC 25094.
