Type locality: "Regenwald bei An'Ala (zur Kolonialzeit Haltestella 'La forêt' der Eisenbahn), etwa 9 km östlich von Adasibe (= Perinet), 840 m über NN", central Madagascar.
Holotype: ZFMK 60000.
