• Type locality: Entre Rios, Fazenda Rio do Negro, Residual stands of the Atlantic Forest. Restinga-type forest of the Rio do Negro valley, ca. 15 km southeast of Entre Rios, 150 m. 12°1'S, 38°2'W.
• Type: A.V.Popovkin & J.C.Mendes 617, 2009-7-31. Holotype: HUEFS.
