Salicornia sinus-persica Akhani, Pakistan J. Bot. 40(4): 1638 (1641, 1645; fig. 3, map). (2008)

Type: Iran, ca. 15 km NW of Borazjan, Abpakhsh, along Shirin river, on saline sandy soils under shade of Tamarix, 29°21′33″ N 51°5′21″ E, 29 Nov 2001, H. Akhani 15923. Holotype: IRAN, Isotype: Herb. Akhani.

Taxon of uncertain status (Kadereit et al., 2012), accepted by Hassler (2018).
