Type locality: "near Tres Cruces, approximately 134 km northeast of Cusco (13° 06´ 19.2 S, 71° 17´ 00 W) at 2750 m elevation, Distrito de Paucartambo, Provincia de Paucartambo, Departamento de Cusco, Peru".
Holotype: MHNC 3005.
