Ptychohyla hypomykter McCranie & Wilson, 1993

Type locality: "beside the Quebrada Cañon Oscuro (15° 05´ N, 88° 56´ W), 1150-1170 m elevation, a stream on Montaña Cerro Azul below Quebrada Grande, Departamento de Copán, Honduras".

Holotype: USNM 319918.
