Note: The subtribe as circumscribed by Nesom (1994) is paraphyletic and an artificial assemblage (Brouillet et al., 2009). The list of genera s.s (exclusively South American genera) is a better fit to the available evidence, but the other genera have not been formally assigned to other subtribes and so must remain here.
