Type locality: "close to the Namarafana River in Zahamena Reserve (17° 44´ S, 48° 58.5´ E, 440-460 m above sea level), Vavatenina Fivondronana, Toamasina Province, eastern Madagascar".
Holotype: UMMZ 211375.
