Plethodon petraeus Wynn, Highton & Jacobs, 1988

Type locality: "34° 39´ 50 N and 85°22´10 W, at an elevation of 310 m, at the mouth of Dickson Gulf on the eastern slope of Pigeon Mountain, Walker County, Georgia", USA.

Holotype: USNM 267205.
