• Type species: Uncertain originally Parastrephia ericoides Nutt. Trans. Am. Phil. Soc. N. S. 7: 450 (1841) synonym of either Parastrephia lucida (Meyen) Cabrera, (1954) or Parastrephia phylicifomis (Meyen) Cabrera, (1954) depending on authority.
