Name

Oreophryne wapoga Günther, Richards & Iskandar, 2001

Type locality: "at an altitude of 1070 m asl at Wapoga Alpha Exploration Camp (136° 34´ 423 [sic] E, 3° 08´ 687 [sic] S, Wapoga River headwaters, Irian Jaya [now Papua], Indonesia".

Holotype: MZB Amph. 7538.
