Type locality: "the headwater of Nakura-gawa River on Mt. Omoto-dake (124°11´E, 24°25´N, alt. 250 m) in Ishigaki-shi, Okinawa Prefecture (Ishigakijima, Yaeyama Group of the Ryukyu Archipelago), Japan".
Holotype: KUHE 9083.
