Note: The generic circumscription of this tribe no longer follows consensus (Nyffeler & Eggli, 2010) and needs updating. For example, at the best it is now held that the tribe only includes Eriosyce s.l., Parodia s.l., Neowerdermannia, Islaya/Rimacactus and Yavia. The subtribes are redundant and a number of currently included genera are either synonyms or allocated to other taxa (Hernández-Ledesma et al., 2015 & Anceschi & Magli, 2018).
