Litoria oenicolen Menzies & Zweifel, 1974

Type locality: "beside the Trauna River (a tributary of the Baiyer River) at the Baiyer River Wildlife Sanctuary (141° 11´ E, 5° 29´ S), Western Highlands District [now Province], Papua New Guinea, elevation 1200 m."

Holotype: AMNH 37922.
