  • The three genera, Comanthosphace, Leucosceptrum and Rostrinucula, are suggested to be extraneous in Pogostemonoideae and their systematic position is uncertain (Ryding 1994).
  • Species previously assigned here are now circumscribed to other genera (Govaerts & al, 2014)
