- Type locality: NEPAL: Taplejung Distr., upper Simbua Khola Valley, near Tseram, 3250–3350 m.
- Holotype: SMNS , ♂, Expeditionen Jochen Martens, 10–15 May 88 J. Martens & W. Schawaller leg.
- Etymology: The specific epithet (Latin, past participle of dirimere: to separate) alludes to the anteriorly divided female tergite IX.
