Type locality: "in the Wondiwoi Mts.. at the base of the Wandammen Peninsula, about 8 km west of the coastal village of Yeretuar, 2° 56´ S, 134° 38´ E, at 480 m NN, Irian Jaya (West Papua)", New Guinea, Indonesia.
Holotype: ZMB 62386.
