Metagentiana –
Sinogentiana –
Tripterospermum
Name
Gentianinae G.Don Gen. Syst. Dichl. Pl. 4: 173. (1838)
Note: The classification of this subtribe is still unclear. Tripterospermum and Crawfurdia are monophyletic, but Metagentiana and Gentiana are still found to be polyphyletic (Favre et al., 2010, Favre et al., 2014 & Struwe, 2014). Sinogentiana and Kuepferia have been proposed to help deal with this, but to date there is poor consensus as to their acceptance.
