Holotype: ZSM 410/2000, adult ♂.
Type locality: “at a site locally called Berara, located within the Anabohazo forest, Sahamalaza Peninsula, northwestern Madagascar (14°18.55' S, 47°54.92' E, 170 m above sea level).”
