Name

Cophixalus balbus Günther, 2003

Type locality: "about 7 km north of the village of Konti (about 12 km north-east of Serui) on Yapen Island, 1° 47´ S and 136° 18´ E, altitude 650 m a.s.l., Papua, Province of Indonesia", New Guinea.

Holotype: ZMB 62592.
