Caroxylon zeyheri Moq., Prodr. [A. P. de Candolle] 13(2): 176. (1849)

Type: (South Africa): Boschjemanland [Namaqualand today]: Bitterfontein, kalksteinhaltige Hügel und karrooartige Niederungen, reichhaltig an Salzpflanzen, 3000–4000 ft, Zeyher 1447 planta alternifolia. Lectotype (designated by Botschantzev 1974: 603): L .; Isolectotypes: K K000243938, K000243937, NBG -SAM0043483-0, PRE 0375574-0.
