Name
- Carlia inconnexa Ingram & Covacevich, 1989
- Holotype: AM R47178, male.
- Type locality: Hayman Island (20°03'S, 148°53'E).
- Etymology: Formerly the subspecies name for these populations. Derived from Latin and meaning ‘unjoined'; in reference to the fact the species is found on offshore islands (Ingram & Covacevich 1989).
