Platyberyx andriashevi (Kukuev et al., 2012)
- Holotype: ZIN 52278.
- Paratypes: ZMMU 14331; AtlantNIRO uncat.
Type locality: Atlantic Ocean, 18°22′S, 11°17′E , depth 1160–1145 m.
Etymology: The species is named in honor of Anatolii Petrovich Andriashev, a well known Russian ichthyologist, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the former Soviet Union. His contribution to the investigation of high latitude and deepwater ichthyofauna of ocean resources is tremendous.
