Bufo gargarizans popei Matsui, 1986

Type locality: San Chiang, Ch'ungan Hsien, Fukien (Fujian), central China, altitude 360–450 m (27° 42′ N, 117° 47′ E).

Holotype: AMNH 30510, by original designation.
